Copic Markers and Copic Sketch Markers can be used as an airbrush by inserting the broad top end of the pen into the adapter. The airbrush feature is wonderful for creating backgrounds and filling in larger areas of space. The airbrush tool creates little or no mess and allows for nearly instant change in color. Used by manga artists, designers, and architects. There are three different kits:

ABS-1--All around set that can be used with compressed air or a compressor. Includes air grip, air hose, air adaptor, air can holder, and Air Can 80.

ABS-2--This kit comes with a D-60 can of compressed air and the Airgrip. This item is great for the artist on the move.

ABS-3--Professional set to be used with air compressor that can run between 40 and 50 psi. Includes air grip and air adaptor. You will also need an 1/8 in. fitting on the end of your hose in order to connect it to the Copic Air Adapter.

I love this system. I use it in a fabric application, though it does need to be heat set to remain color fast. It's a great way to add spot color to mohair teddy bears.

The Copic airbrush set is a great product, and the airbrush can be used with Copic air cans as well as other compressed air cans(just needs an adaptor) . It also works with a compressor. It's very nice that the Copic markers can be refilled. I am told that the markers can be used on fabric as well as paper.
