Cellfoam 88 is an extruded closed-cell polystyrene foam material that is perfect for many types of projects, including memory books, cards, kids’ projects, model dioramas, architectural projects, and scenic applications!

Cellfoam’s outer skin is tougher than most other foam sheet products. It possesses a consistent, smooth, flat surface and is easy to cut and shape. Cellfoam does not absorb water, is acid free, and accepts a wide variety of paints and adhesives.

Cellfoam is available in three thicknesses – 3 mm, 5 mm, and 10 mm. Each package comes with two sheets, and each sheet measures 11 1/2 in. x 47 in.

I have purchased 3mm, 5mm and 10mm sheets of the CellFoam 88 product and use this material to build "foamie" remote controlled aircraft. The foam cuts easily, glues up well with epoxy or foam safe CA, and sands/shapes quickly. The material is paintable with foam safe spray products and can be hand painted or airbrushed with acrylic craft paint. I use 5mm for the wing (with carbon rod or wood dowell support, 10mm for the fuselage and 3mm for trim and support pieces. Grat stuff, easy to work with and flies well.
