This book has several illustrations, some full page. They aren't highly detailed, so they should be suitable for children aged ten and up. I bought this book so that I could color the pictures, and make it a heirloom book for one of my grandchildren someday. I have found that crayons and marker pens don't work as well as good quality colored pencils such as Prismacolor.
