Draw Manga-- ok, if all you want to do is learn how to draw characters with big eyes and tiny mouths. It doesn't train you to think maybe in the manga panel layout and storytelling length, which is the only thing superior to Western Comic production. Good to read as an edition to many other instruction books, but if all you want to be is an imitator and not an innovator-- well this is the book for you.

I bought this book as a gift for my 14 -year-old daughter. She has taught herself a great deal of how to draw Manga, but this book helped her to figure out those pesky details ("How can I make the eyes shiny with joy or tears?") that have stumped her up until now.
