The best all around book on art and techniques that i have ever read. It is a gold mine of ideas and knowledge
Rated by: Christine H. in Aberdeen, WA
I bought this book because of the value of information I thought it would have in it's 400+ pages, and I wasn't disappointed. This truly had a wealth of information on painting with oils, watercolors, and acrylics. It not only talked about materials, it discussed materials in all three mediums. It went into depth about technique and even had step by step demonstrations. This really was a book containing three complete books within. My only wish was that it held more realistic demonstrations. It has some though. Even if you only do realism this book is worth the cost and a great addition!
