Artisan Series Brushes

by Winsor & Newton

These long handled brushes feature unique synthetic bristles, developed from a blend of high quality polyester fibers. They offer excellent spring, durability and strength, and maintain their shape even when in contact with water. This makes them particularly useful during prolonged painting sessions with water mixable oil colors.

Sporting seamless nickel ferrules with polished silver handles, these beautiful brushes are designed for use with all oil, acrylic, or Griffin Alkyd Fast Drying Oil Colours.

I use Artisan brushes for about 30 students each weeks as well as my own heavy personal use. These brushes get a LOT of action, but they clean up well and spring back as if they are brand new, even after a year of this intense use. P.S. I wash them in the Master's Brush Cleaner and Preserver.

These brushes really do the job. The bristles are firm and work great with the Artisan Mixable Oils. Also, a large assortment of these brushes are offered at a reasonable price.

Love the Winston & Newton brushes! I had not tried this brush brand before, but will buy only these in the future.
