The finest sable in the world comes from Russia, so Jack Richeson located the oldest brush manufacturers in Russia and asked them to make a top sable series. Using only the finest male sable, these brush makers go right to the source and purchase their pelts directly from the fur traders.

The hair used in Richardson fine sable brushes is prepared with great care right in the brush maker’s factory. After preparation, the brushes are created by hand so that each brush develops a needle point and a crisp snap and resiliency.

Jack Richeson Fine Sable Watercolor Brushes are available in four different sets:

Set of Two contains two brushes: one Round (size 14) and one Flat (1 in.). The set comes in an elegant wooden box with a dark, natural finish.

Set of Three contains three brushes (sizes 3, 10, and 14) and comes in an attractive unfinished wooden box.
