Creative Edge Pre-Stretched Canvas features an innovative, staple-free design that allows you to paint on all four sides, so you can hang your work with or without a picture frame. Rather than obtrusive staples, a durable vinyl spine holds the canvas snugly in place.

Creative Edge Pre-Stretched Canvas is medium texture, 100% cotton duck canvas, double primed with acid-free acrylic gesso. Each canvas comes with 1 ½ in. x 1 ½ in. Heavy Duty Stretcher Strips, and is pegable and adjustable.

Sizes that include cross bracing: 30 in. x 40 in. and 36 in. x 48 in.
Size that includes corner braces: 48 in. x 60 in.

I love these because I could never do as good a job at stretching canvas. And the staple-less design is really great to look at. Those corners are wonderful. What keeps me from 5 stars is two quirky annoyances, which I hope MisterArt.com will convey to Fredrix. First, they supply only no keys. Second, They staple the manufacturer's paper label to the frame. That is really disgusting, since the staples leave holes and are hard to take out!

I've spent years stretching my own canvasses and priming them. Tried this product and am ordering more! I don't think I'll ever stretch again, unless some odd-sized pieces. Can't beat the product and the finish and the price :).

I really like the gallery wrapped canvases and this one has a nice clean edge on the back. Although no one will really see that if it is to be hung on a wall. I miss the center cross-brace like other gallery stretched canvases have. This canvas may not need the extra bracing, but it does work well to carry the painting, especially with wet paint.

tYPICALLY, I FEEL I NEED TO FILL IN THE FOLDED EDGES WITH EXTRA PAINT OR STUCCO FOR A CRISP EDGE, BUT THIS CANVAS IS SO TIGHTLY PULLED THAT I WAS QUITE HAPPY TO FIND THE FIRST THIN GLAZE OF PAINT WAS ALL THAT WAS NEEDED FOR A CRISP, PROFESSIONAL FINISH. lIKE A WELL MADE SUITE YOU HAVE TO LOOK CLOSLY FOR THE SEAM.

I have been very please with the pre-stretched canvases. The price fits my budget and the delivery time is very prompt. I prefer the heavy duty stretcher bars because there is less warping. If I had to build my own canvases of this quality I would probably never get around to painting.

I use these canvasses for mixed media collage and acrylic paintings. They have become one of my favorite work surfaces because they are substantial, not wimpy whatsoever. Not having to frame them is a real advantage, of course. I've bought these for some time from a local art store, but find that even with the shipping costs, I can get them less expensively on MisterArt.com.

Great look, clean and you can paint even the edges to give you the option of not framing it. Although I bought the 26"x26" and it did not come with a secure middle bar frame for added security that I expected. But overall totally worth the money.
