You can paint this pre-stretched canvas on all four sides because its edges are staple-free. The innovative design of the Creative Edge Pre-Stretched Canvas features a durable vinyl spine that holds the canvas snugly across the frame.

Creative Edge Pre-Stretched Canvas is medium texture, 100% cotton duck canvas, double primed with acid-free acrylic gesso. Each Traditional Style Canvas comes with 1 1/16 in. x 1 5/8 in. Standard Stretcher Strips, and is pegable and adjustable.

24 in. x 36 in. canvases have cross bracing.

These canvases have alot going for them. They have a nice finished edge with no staples showing, they are already primed and the price is right. I did find, however, that they were not stretched very tightly (I bought a pack of 6 and it could have been that one pack) and for a finished edge, I will stick to the gallery wrapped. There is a difference in depth, as the gallery wrapped is deeper at 1 1/2 inches.

A great canvas and a great value. These are the only canvas I use. I sell my paintings unframed so these are ideal. This time of year I go through a lot of them as I travel doing the art show circuit.

The only thing better than the Creative Edge canvas is the great value. By using these (and I use a lot of them) I am able to keep my cost down, as they don't have to be framed. The have a nice finish to paint on and don't have to be primed.

I was very pleased when I received my canvas order. The quality was Excellent for every single one. Each looked like great care was taken to make it. No loose staples, tightly stretched, no wood indentations, and evenly distributed quality canvas throughout. I also received great customer service which was just an added plus. I only use creative edge canvases, they are great, stretched tight and ready to paint, I do not frame my paintings as I paint around the edges, this enables me to keep my prices down and gives the buyer an option to frame or not. I use 11x14, 18x24, 24x30 and 24x36. I highly recommend them. I am also pleased to have found MisterArt.com as I no longer have to cut out coupons and travel around town trying to amass enough canvases. I strongly recommend becoming a VIP member, the savings are tremendous!

These are the best pre-stretched canvases ever. The outside edges are not stapled! The canvas already has a layer of gesso! It's a huge time saver...just unwrap it and start creating!
