Envision Glazes are the lead-free cousin to Duncan's popular Gloss Glazes. They work with a variety of decorating techniques and produce a distinctively smooth and elegant appearance. Colors are available in translucent, opaque, or new speckled tones. All are safe for use on food containers.

Basic Instructions
1. Apply to shelf cone 04 bisque.
2. Apply two or three smooth, even coats.
3. Fire to shelf cone 06.
4. Clean up with water.

Tips & Techniques
1. Envisions move very little during firing, so apply them with smooth, even strokes.
2. Envisions may be fired in a kiln used for leaded products, but it is best to separate leaded and nontoxic loads.
3. Most Envisions are overglaze compatible. Always refer to label instructions for proper application and usage.
4. Most colors may be mixed together to create custom colors with no changes in application or performance.
5. Envisions reds and greens can be fired simultaneously with no specal precautions.

This is a goof-proof glaze-- very easy to apply, and forgiving as to firing temperature. Be sure to apply enough coats.

I love these glazes. My daughter has used them for several years and I started using them last summer. I now buy them for my students and members of our school "Clay Club" and the kids love them. I anxiously await my newest glazes. I ordered the metalic glazes to use on some pendants that will be a fund raiser for the Greyhound Association in Atlanta. Wish me luck!

This was my first experience shopping at MisterArt.com and it was a great experence. I teach ceramics at a local school and the students mostly supply their own glazes; at your wonderful prices several of the students were about to purchuse more than what we could have dreamed of. Another student ordered on their own and I was very pleased that your employees sold her pints in place of 4 oz jars, that was excellent. Dunn are the only glazes I have used for years and everyone enjoys saving money. We will be shopping with you in the near future.

MisterArt prices are great...buy large quantities and save. Though I first started painting/experimenting using the Duncan Concepts, which require a clear-coat overpaint, I've since moved over to using the Envision glazes...the clear-coat is included so it saves time (no top-coat needed!). The color choices are great too. I've used these with the Crystaltones on single pieces and have had great/unique results.

These glazes were satisfactory. They weren't as opaque as I expected but it did create a cool translucent effect. I bought sunset red though, and it definately looked more like orange than red.

The product was exactly what I wanted. The color very closely matched the color tile shown. It was a soft pink which was what I was looking for to use on a Victorian piece. It's self antiquing property highlighted the detail I was trying to bring out. It was very easy to apply and dried quickly between coats. I would recommend this product to anyone.

I favor Duncan products over all others. Their performance is far superior to any others I have tried.I have used them for over 35 years and will continue to use them as long as I can get them. They are easy to use and their colors are vibrant and beautiful.
