Basic Instructions
1. Stir contents of jar thoroughly.
2. Apply one generous coat with a soft brush; let dry, then apply second crisscross coat.
3. Apply to shelf cone 04 bisque, fired glaze, or acrylic painted surface.
4. Clean up with water.
5. Always refer to label instructions for proper application and usage.

Tips & Techniques
1. Granite Stone can be applied to ceramic bisque, fired glazed surfaces, wicker, wood, plaster, glass, Papier Mache silk flowers, and leaves.
2. For raised detailing, apply three or four coats.
3. For terracotta look, apply two solid coats of Canyon Rock granite stone; let dry; antique with white waterbased antiquing gel.

I like to use the Kimple painting techinque on their rock and slabs first, then use the granite stone to fill in the rock areas, makes for a interesting conversation piece and when men go to lift the painted piece, they try to use their muscles to lift but find out WOW its not a ROCK after all. Great product to work with.

I live in the desert Southwest part of tahe country. I am in a ceramics club out here and love to create ceramics pieces to decorate my home. I mostly use the Granite stone paints for this purpose. I drybush the screnery, which involves another type of paint, and when it gets to the background, I use the Granite stone. It paints on easily, is easily to wash off if a mistake is made, and best of all, it looks like stone and creates a background that looks real and adds to the natural scenery of the piece created.

Finally a perfect match of colors to provide natural environmental coverings. The sand & granite are superb. Paint is fast drying and very easy to use and clean-up.

Very easy to use and great for a different look. Love using them on South West pieces for the rugged look...
