Yaley candle wicking is available in two types: bleached and wire. Wire core wick is made by braiding prepared cotton around a zinc, lead-free core. As the wick burns, the metal melts into very small droplets and rests in the molten pool of wax. Bleached wick is prepared wick having four sides. It is easy to work with and will not bend over as it burns.

Guide for choosing a wire wick size:
Less than 2 in. diameter - small wire wick
Votive candles - small wire wick
2 in. to 3 in. diameter - medium wire wick
3 in. to 4 in. diameter - large wire wick

Guide for choosing a bleached wick size:
Tapers and votive candles - small
Beeswax candles - medium
2 in. to 3 in. diameter - medium
3 in. to 4 in. diameter - large
