Protective finishing spray for art and craft projects. Provides a permanent, protective finish for unglazed ceramics and most crafts. Seals out dirt, tarnish, stains, moisture, and salt spray indoors and out. Use to protect drawings, layouts, tempera, watercolors, prints, and photos. Also seals bisque, plaster, or wood before staining or painting. Use over non-fired stains or other paints before antiquing to provide a more workable surface. Protects silver, brass, copper, and other metals from tarnish, corrosion, or rust. Preserve documents, books, wallet cards, maps, wallpaper, murals, plaques, trophies, and mounted fabric. Waterproofs signs and displays. Fast drying. Contains no fluorocarbons. Lead free.

I customize model horses and I use a spray sealer to protect the paint. This is an excellent spray for the job.

Blair spray is excellent for topcoating acrylic paints and as a protective finish on bare wood. I use it extensively to finish small wood items that would be difficult to do by brush and on picture frames that have been faux painted. I've found that I prefer the coverage and overall finish of Blair to other brands I've tried. Misterart.com has the best price I've found on this product -- more than $4.00 per can less than I can purchase it locally!

I love this product! I have tried many spray finishes but have always been bothered by the smell and concerned about the environment. I preserve my paintings as well as many of the props I make for our local theater.
