After hearing about the horrors of massive inkjet smearing of wedding invitations during postal delivery, I used this fixative to fix my wedding invitations, response cards, and inserts. It worked great! We were amazed at how well it worked -- it wasn't visible at all on the cards and we even held one card under running water after spraying and drying, and then rubbed it energetically with our fingers and it STILL wouldn't smear. Love this product! Do follow the directions on spraying only in well ventilated areas and taking care to not inhale. I did inhale a little bit by accident (really) and didn't feel too great for a few hours.

Preserve It works well and is completely invisible. Well worth the price, just follow the directions please! Great for kids artwork and precious family photos!

This product is just great. Protects papers from fading so you can use more range of paper materials for collage work. KRYLON Preserve keeps chalk in place, acid-free/archival safe, so you will find it useful in scrapbooking too.

does a very good job of protecting inkjet photos. no more fingerprints, water resistant, and UV resistant. downside: the smell lasts for 1-2 weeks and the aerosol can makes it hard to get perfectly even coats on small prints.

I use this on photos that I print on my home printer. I had a problem where the pictures (ink) stuck to the plastic that covers them in photo albums. After using this spray on them I do not experience any sticking any longer!

Whenever I placed digital photos printed on my ink jet printer in my scrapbooks, they always stuck to the page protectors. This product is great for solving that problem.

I agree with the other comments regarding the smell, but it doesn't linger. After a day of wearing out, they are fine! My silver foil labels are now of a professional quality! Just what I've been looking for! No more smudging and smearing! Dries clear and glossy.
