This pad was something of a disappointment. It is a bit too soft, so the metal continually warped when I used it. An old mouse pad or a piece of an old backpacker's sleeping pad works much better!

I expected this product to be made out of different materials then what it is. It does work graet for metal embossing, I was very pleased with the results...
