Perfect FX Tiles are natural mica which is heat resistant, acid free and lightfast. Each Tile is distinctly different from the other. They can be delaminated and relaminated making them perfect for preserving photos, pressed flowers and mementos. Uses include jewelry making, painting, embossing, collage art, card making, and ornamentation. Archival, lightfast, acid free, heat resistant. Tiles vary in shape and size. Sizes listed below are approximate.

This is a nifty material. I've worked with bonded mica (for lampshades and the like) before, but this natural mica is completely different. It's as clear as a cheap pair of sunglasses, stronger and pretty much heat-proof. It delaminates transparently, and glues well with silicone-based glue. I'm looking for more uses for it!

These tiles are hard to find, and misterart has them at a great price. They're versatile and fun to work with. I like that they add a very unique and professional look to projects. I used some on decorated wooden boxes, and they worked great.

Lovely, high-quality mica. The only problem I had was in the sizing. I needed a piece that was 4" X 6" and out of all the pieces in the packet, not one of them was big enough. (I ordered the 5" X 6" packet)
