Cup and Ball Metal Embossing Tools

by MercArt

The Cup and Ball tool creates perfect circles and dots in embossing metals. Press the Ball into the back side of the metal using a circular motion creating a round “bump” on the other side. Turn the metal over and press the Cup end over the “bump” to refine the edges making a perfect raised circle.

The Cup and Ball comes in six sizes. The number reflects the diameter of the circle the tool will make in millimeters. Suede sheet is sold separately.

Product Questions and Answers

Ask a Question
Ask a Question

I would like to do some embossing by hand, and I have seen the embossing tools used in craft videos. I would like to be able to make different borders on my items and some different texture lines within my projects. Can you tell me which embossing tools will I be able to use to get the results I desire?

- Asked by Charlotte Smith on 27-May-13

Perhaps the double-ended brass brush, and the fiberglass embossing tool, since they both say they are for creating textures. You may want to Google the MercArt Interactive website for more information.

I love these. They are my favorite. They make even my crooked lines look good.

I love these. I have both sizes and use them all the time for making elegant looking borders. They work great for making berries too.
