The shaker prevents any waste. It's easy for the kids to handle we both love the bulk sizes as it looks like little bits of tiny treasures.

It's less likely to make a mess than other containers that I've tried. I can use it directly from the shaker and so can the students. Saves me time and students feel better for helping out.

I loved the variety of colors and with the shaker lid I was able to apply generous amounts where I needed it and less when desired. Also, with the lid coming off I was able to pour back the amount that had come off for a second use.
