i've been using monarch silver leaf on my wood turnings. it is a great product, but had been difficult to find. now, i can get the leaf whenever i need it -- it's just the patina chemicals that are hard to find!

Monarch Silver leaf IS the real thing. I use it to make silvered ivory stringers to complete my lampwork beads. The quality is exceptional.

This was the first time I ever tried to do silver leafing. I decided to turn a four panel "country" TV cabinet into a "metro" cabinet. It took me about 10 minutes to figure out how to work it but the result was FANTASTIC. It was so easy. I will say that I changed adhesive after the first panel and that made a huge difference on the ease of application. You should see the cabinet. I highly recommend.

I was really disappointed with this product. It claims to be used similiar to gold leaf, but its not at all. The entire book was stuck together. It was only possible to get small bits and pieces off the pages. I recommend trying another brand.
