For what is worth for all craft users working with leather strap/cords normally it is hard and stiff (depending of the supstance it is made from) even tho it is wrapped on a card or in a package , if soaked for several hours it will make it very pliable to work with . I have done many leather crafts , wood crafts , specialize in makeing Dream Catchers,Mandallas, weaveing , and such which I carried from Oklahoma , Native Arts . Hope that will help some of you , for it does get fustrateing working with stiff or disfigured leather , tho in its natural state , must be pampered in a since !

It would be great if this leather came coiled as shown in the photo rather than on cards which creates hard to relax creases.
