I wish this was invented 20 years ago. Years of struggling to shape styrofoam are a thing of the past. Finally, I can get intricate shapes without wrestling with the tough styrofoam and the mess associated with cutting the foam with a plain knife. Thumbs up for the inventors of this product.

Very easy to make precision cuts and intricate details. I love this product.

I was using it to cut arches in 1 1/2 in styrofoam. During the process it started bending and final went limp causing it to break. It is much to light for the thickness I was using it for. On 1/2 inch it would cut more freely. It would be nice if you could get a replacement rod.
