As a beginner at making molds, this product was easy to use to make my very first one!

Mold Maker works pretty well. If you make a plaster mold around the mold maker mold it will hold it's shape and not come out warped.

Works exceptionally well for molds for polymer clay and PMC silver and gold.

I have only used this product twice, and found it very easy to use. However, I do agree with other reviewers, regarding how quickly this item turns to goo after you have handled it. Still, I was able to get 2 great molds!

I love this mold maker product. I'm using it to make molds for jewelry. It is so easy to use and makes wonderfully flexible molds.

This stuff is great for making molds. Note that it is quirte sticky just out of the package and you have to chill it maybe 15-20 minutes in the freezer) before it is workable.

I found this clay to be extremely pliable. I was surprised to find that it softened even more from the heat of my hands. To solve this problem, I wrapped the clay in plastic (as I do with the dough when I'm making pie crust from scratch) and put it inside the refrigerator for about five to ten minutes. It gets a little firmer, which makes it easier to work with.

My review if for modeling purposes..NOT mold making. This material is EXCELLENT for either puppet hands and even feet/boots/shoes. If you want it to look super smooth, dont use this product. You are better off sculpting in clay and then making a plaster mold and casting in foam latex. If you want a good textured look, which IMO is very nice, yet undetailed. Use this product. IMPORTANT: get a bowl of water ready and submerge elasticlay in it while using. Otherwise it will stick to your skin and will be as fun as sculpting cake icing. IMPORTANT #2 - If you do not cover with a few layers of liquid latex, your feet and fingers will start cracking rather quickly when animating. Stipple on a few layers of liquid latex, and it will last a lot longer. IMPORTANT #3 - If you wantto paint it, yu must mix in some PROS AIDE to the acrylic paint. This will make the paint flexable for animating. Otherwise the paint will crack apart. enjoy

Nice clay for making mold for polymer clay. This clay is too much soft and sticky so i succeeded to make of him just a molds form stone motives and it turn to be excellent after baking. It's a little bit elastic after bake.

For making a flat mold of a simple subject, or sculpting a small 3-D piece that you want to remain flexible, Super Elasticlay is hard to beat. Very fine texture and easy workability. It isn't for all applications, but if these are your specific needs, it's great. A word of caution: Follow the package instructions and do NOT let it get overheated in the curing process or your effort will be ruined.

This clay seems nice at first and it very pliable with a smooth texture great for details, but after being held in hand for an extended amount of time it became extremely flimsy and lost all body. Don't expect this clay to hold its shape before firing. It was so frustrating to work with I never even got around to firing it.

This stuff is great for making molds. I have tried to use some molds that were almost completely worn out and I was able to make new ones.
