Has a unique visual texture which resembles granite. Hand kneading does not affect the textural quality, and the colors remain stable during baking. It has an attractive, matte finish; however, some artists may prefer to use glaze to intensify colors and luster. Set contains one 1 oz. bar each of brown, green, orange, blue, red, violet, black and turquoise.

I find this to be so easy to work with and love the results. I purchased the kit. I would like to purchase more of the grey and brown. Can I purchase these colors separate and in larger amounts and where? This beats the heck out of drilling river rock! Please feel free to respond via e- mail

We bought this product along with Fimo clay to make props for a Live Action Role Playing Game. This clay was softer than the Fimo to mold and had a shorter bake time. We went with the Fimo because the color was closer to what we wanted but the Sculpey inspired us to make several new props for future games.

I really like using this clay. Nice and soft to work with. Actually, I made my own cabason out of this clay because I couldnt find the right size and color to replace one I lost in a bracelet.

These clays really do look like stone, but also look great when layered with metallic clays. Light switch plates look great when made out of these clays and carved with a craft knife.

I love this clay. Of all the clay I work with, Granitex Stone is the best. The colors are perfect and the clay is very easy to handle and shape. I use it on all my projects.

I used this product to allow my son's birthday party guests (ages 5 to 11) to make hieroglyph initials on "stone". It was very easy to do and they turned out really neat. I made ones for my other children, too, and they really like them.
