The Ranger Melting Pot allows you to safely and easily heat and melt embossing powders, candle wax, crayons, soap, candy, hot glue, and other meltable craft materials. It’s great for dipping and coating frames, wood, shrink plastic, wire, glass, leather, metal, stone, and more. It’s also perfect for pouring melted materials into molds to create jewelry and embellishments.

The Ranger Melting Pot possesses optimum temperature control and provides rapid, even melting of craft mediums. It’s built ergonomically for maximum comfort, with large handles for easy lifting and an elongated spout for accurate pouring. The Melting Pot also features a stable, three-footed base and a non-stick surface for easy cleaning.

Additional Project Pans and Project Craft Sheets, which offer a protective liner for the pan, are sold separately. They're perfect for when you want to melt several colors and mediums with one Melting Pot.

Size is perfect, heats quickly and maintains temperature. Clean up is simple.

Works great for melting UTEE and pouring into molds. I used it to make doll faces from a pour-mould. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 stars because it doesn't heat up enough to melt UTEE using a second pan liner, which I had purchased along with the Melting Pot for easier clean up.

Overall, the melting pot is well-designed and works as expected. However, it's true that the separate extra pans (pan within the pan) do NOT heat up sufficiently to keep UTEE melted. This means that the extra pans are a waste of money. You need multiple melting pots, not multiple pans. This is quite an investment for the hobbyist.

I must say....I was not sure about this before I bought it, but I am in love with the product. It works great on utee and I love watching shrink plastic melt-----crazy!! Easy to clean if you follow the directions.
