Use RIT Color Remover, in a 2 oz. box, before dying fabric to a lighter or different color.
Use the 8 oz. liqiud RIT Fixative to reduce the fabric's colors from fading.

How many bottles do I need to dye a slip cover colored off-white? It's a three-sweater couch. - Asked by Lourdes Punzalan on 02-Jan-14
Answer
One bottle of dye will color two lbs. of dry fabric. Double the amount to create dark colors. - Answered by MisterArt on 07-Jan-14I want to dye something burgundy - what colors should I mix? - Asked by Kaye Cosme on 11-Dec-13
Answer
Look at the color swatch for Wine as that is the best shade of burgundy. If you want it lighter, just use a bit more water than called for, and a little less set time. Do not mix with white as it will not come out the same base shade of burgundy. It will be more pink. - Answered by MisterArt on 11-Dec-13How does one use this? - Asked by laura on 03-Apr-13
