I needed a plain white silk scarf to be worn with an outfit but could not find one anywhere. I found these after doing a search and they were exactly what I wanted. Good quality and very nice appearance.

I print directly on these scarves with my Epson R2400 which uses the new K3 ultrachrome pigment (not dye based ink). I do not need to pretreat it. after a few days drying time i iron it and the colors stay put in cold water. the tricky part is securing the silk to freezer wrap to stabilize it for sending it through the printer. the silk is very soft with a satiny sheen.

I did a scarf class for one of my quilting groups, and they dyed and painted and stamped these scarves. They were wonderful! We used both Colorhue and Dynaflow dyes and several different paints. Both dyes and the various paints worked really well. Some of the women in the class (who are strict piecers and applique people) were not too thrilled in the beginning, but they had such a great time, we are doing another class in July.

These scarves were absolutely perfect for our Stamp Art Project. We used several drops of dye ink plus water inside a mini mister bottle and spritzed color right onto the fabric. After heat-setting before rinsing, the designs were absolutely gorgeous! We'll certainly be purvchasing many, many more. The size and quality was perfect for what we needed!
