I work for the Fire Department, and we use these colored map tacks to track the different types of fires in town (i.e., orange for candle fires, red for kitchen fires, etc.) This is the ONLY place I've been able to get individual boxes of colored tack--most places sell only boxes that contain an assortment.

These are shorter than the ones I used previously but work well because then I can put many close together. They are perfect!

These map tacks are great quality and come in a variety of colors. The only thing I would change is the size of the pin head. Our map is very large so we could use some bigger tacks. They're great otherwise!
