We are not your usual customer - I purchased 6 boxes of Staonal Black crayons for our rubber hose manufacturing plant. We use them to mark rubber compound, they are easy to use and show up in "manufacturing" conditions. Most importantly they become part of the product when it is used and do not change its makeup. They say "art is everywhere" but now you know "so are the art supplies"

I used these for tombstone rubbings with Strathmore drawing paper rolls, and the results were wonderful. They were used in our old, private, family cemetery, and they picked up details from the stones that were not easily visible with the eye alone. They are soft but still strong; one crayon went a very long way. A nice range of shading when you vary pressure and number of passes over an area. I highly recommend these. I wish they had a broader color selection!

I just got these and they are great! So useful for sketching, adding to paintings, under coat......anything.
