Cretacolor's Classic Drawing and Sketching leads represent high quality, professional grade drawing tools. Available in a variety of materials, these 5.6 mm leads make a valuable addition to any artist's toolkit. Through mixing and experimentation, special effects can be created, lending extra dimension to drawings, sketches, and mixed media work.

Leads are sold individually. Order 6 for a full box.
The Sketching Assortment contains one each of white chalk, sanguine oil, sepia light, sepia dark, charcoal medium, and graphite 4B.

These leads are compatible with the Cretacolor Plastic Lead Holder.

I have worked for many years with nero leads and I like their graphic strength and their range of tonal values, from delicate lines to juicy bold marks. They are similar in appearance to charcoal, but much more stable to smudging. I'm glad I found them again in the version of Cretacolor.
