Parallel Ruling Straightedge With Armoredge

This professional quality straightedge has an almost invisible strip of stainless steel along its edge that assists in burnishing, scribing, drawing, and ruling. The strip also protects against nicks and dents from drawing tools.

The straightedge runs on a ball bearing pulley system for smooth travel. It features metal rollers that allow the straightedge to glide over your work, and brakes to lock the rule into place for hands free use.

The straightedge also has a phenolic black base for extra stability and transparent blades for see-through registration. It comes with a hardware kit and cable. Made in the USA.

As a design student at San Jose State University I am required to purchase a parallel rule for drafting interiors. However, every teacher I have specifically states that I purchase the Mayline brand because of its wire system and track-record. Mine works smashing and so will yours!
