I see the 8008 color is listed as "graphite" and 8046 is listed as "black". Does the 8046 have the same properties as 8008? Can I use the 8046 to write on glass? I do stained glass projects and find the 8008 is excellent to mark the glass then wipe off, will the 8046 work the same way?- Asked by Rick DeMarsh on 12-Mar-14
Yes, they are both all-surface pencils and water-soluble, so they will come off with a damp cloth. The graphite is like an H grade pencil while the 8046 is an intense black.- Answered by MisterArt on 12-Mar-14
Can I use them on glass?- Asked by Krista on 12-Apr-13
You can use these pencils on glass, but water will wipe them off.- Answered by MisterArt on 16-Apr-13
Is it permanent?- Asked by Karen on 13-Feb-13
They are water-soluble and non-permanent. We would not recommend using them on surfaces that are exposed to water.- Answered by MisterArt on 14-Feb-13
