I have been sewing for decades. For most of this time, I've been using Stabilo pencils to draft patterns, because they give a nice dark erasable line, and to mark fabric, because the marks wash out or dab off easily. They work well for marking craft projects, too.

Great for marking X-rays. Easy to erase. They are the only brand I use. I prefer the red and the blue ones.

The Stabilo pencil was the answer to our nightmare... writing on plastic was never so nice. Totally happy with this product...

I ordered these because I already love them. I did order some colors I hadn't used before, and find that the blue, which wasn't described, is dark blue... whilst I was imagining light blue. We use these for drawing around the pattern pieces on glass for the most part. The Yellow one shows up really well, as does the red on glasses which are dark or at least contrasting to the pencil. The black one is useful for all sorts of marking, as the length of the lead, or brass, and even on some glasses.

These pencils are the best for artists who work in acrylics, because sketch lines can be erased easily with a little water and a scruffy brush. I like them so much my most recent order was to replenish by supply.

The white All Stabilo pencil is terrific for marking quilting designs on dark fabrics. They don't brush off as you are working, yet easily wash away when you are finished.

The Schwan-Stabilo white pencil is the only white marker I use to successfully mark dark fabrics. It stays on the fabric and is water soluable. It is my favotite.

So far I haven't found anything these won't write on and they come off quite easily [can smudge on paper or photos].

This these give you a very nice dark line, ideal for work on solar plates. For that you draw on frosted glass and use a solarplate to make a printing plate. You can find more info about the process on solarplate.com

I use these pencils in my mixed media collage classes. They will write on anything and the marks can easily be altered. With a little water, you can paint with them. Great pencils!

We use these pencils to write accession numbers on objects made of plastic resins -- since most other marking methods are not suitable for such materials. They are not perfect (there is some concern that the marks may rub off after years and years), but I have found the marks to be quite durable, and in the absence of a better solution these pencils are wonderful.

These pencils are wonderful. I have been searching for something that will write on cold laminating film. They work perfectly and wipe off easily. We now are able to use our chore charts and school material that we have not been able to use prior to finding these pencils. Thanks for offering them at such a reasonable price :0)

I love these pencils. I use them to make workbooks last for several children. We slide plastic cover sheets over the pages, use these pencils to do the work, correct the work then wipe the pages with a damp rag and slide them over the next page to be done. Thank you.

I use these pencils on plastic plant tags. The writing lasts for at least a decade and doesn't fade in sunlight or wash off.. This company had them in stock and I usually have to have them special ordered, that is, if I can find them at all.. :^)

This pencils, although used on metal, glass, etc., for marking purposes has another purpose in the colored pencil classes that I teach. The black is absolutely superb for the darkest black in an eye; the white is wonderful as a burnishing tool making a background seem hazy and barely in view, much like a camera could do. I highly recommend these pencils for anything that you want extremely sharp and in contrast to the subject matter.

While intended for marking film and other materials, for which I assume they are satisfactory, these pencils are marvellous for life drawing with a wash of water for shading. On good watercolour paper a quick and excellent result can be easily obtained.

After years of searching, I found the perfect tool for marking my quilts with the water-soluable SCHWAN-STABILO All Stabilo Pencil. The lead is soft enough to move across the fabric smoothly. The markings don't fade away while you are working on your quilt but do wash out completely when your quilting is finished. The white pencil works great for darks, mediums and some light fabrics. Yellow works well on light fabrics. These pencils truly take the frustration out of marking fabric.

I use this pencil to mark my quilting patterns on my quilt tops. The white pencil marks are easily removed and leave no residue. I give it an A+

Best we have found for marking on dark glass....the white and yellow pencils are FANTASTIC. Easy to draw the patterns and simple to remove from glass when finished. The BEST!

While I do not use the product for the use advertised, I use them in applique. For tracing pattern or backgrounds. Haven't tried washing yet but the lines are covered enough there shouldn't be a problem

These pencils work really good when you need to cut a design out of a photo. Just trace it, cut and wipe excess off with a tissue.

This pencil is excellent for my work in lay out of aircraft paint designs. Does not damage painted surfaces and wipes off with a damp cloth. Much superior to the china markers I had been using.

Although not marketed as a watercolor pencil, these are far better in hue intensity and solubility than any watercolor pencil I have tried. I only wish they were offered in a wider range of colors or at least in cyan and magenta foor basic primary mixing.

These are wonderful pencils for writing on page protectors. The writing stays put till you wipe it off almost effortlessly with a wet paper towel. Unlike markers, the writing won't easily smear off the protectors with these pencils like it will with dry erase markers. My students and I strongly prefer using these pencils. Black and blue seem to work best and do not leave behind any residue upon removal. Try them. You won't be disappointed!

I love these pencils. I ordered them in several colors. I use them to draw on my art surfaces before I paint. They are far better than charcoal pencils. They are easily removable and a joy to use!!! MisterArt had the best price and a wonderful delivery service. I'm very happy to say the least.

I love the graphite Stabilo pencils. They are smooth and dark and a joy to write with. I'm not doing anything fancy with them, but even writing in my checkbook is fun with these wonderful pencils. Simple pleasures, you know!
