Of all of the marking pencils on the market this works the very best. I am very pleased that I can remove it s easily from fabric and that it doesn`t break everytime I try to sharpen it. Your service was exceptional!!!!

I am a quilter and this is by far the best marking pencil I've ever used.

These are the only pastel pencils I will use. The wide variety of colors, size which fits in standard pencil sharpener, leads which don't crumble, yet hold thier color especially for highlights make them a valuable tool for artists.. They work well on top of gouache paintings on sanded paper, over acrylic or watercolor washes, and over soft pastels. I recommend them to all my students.

As a Pastel Artist who goes into Photo Realistic detail on my horse paintings, I have tried about every brand on the market. I LOVE these pastel pencils but haven't been able to find a place to get them in individual colors which I seem to constantly be running out of such as black, dk. browns, and especially white. People comment on my work to the point that the horses look so real they want to reach out an pet them. Art teachers comment that they expect my horses to come right out of the picture and that they can see the very soul of horses. I wouldn't be able to do this if it weren't for these fantastic pencils. I can sharpen them in my electric pencil sharpener without fear that the leads and get incredibly sharp fine details that can't be accomplished with any other brand. I would also like you to send my your "FREE" catalog as your the only company that I have found which carry all of the individual colors that I run out of.

These are the best pastel pencils that I've found. They are a dry, dusty composition, like charcoal, but they can be sharpened to a nice point. I use a Panasonic P-310 electric sharpener with good results. Don't bother using a hand-held portable sharpener, it will break the lead 50% of the time.

Carbo-Othello produces the finest pastel pencils available anywhere. Their texture and vibrant colors are a joy. They blend perfectly with the finest soft pastel sticks.
