Crayola oil pastels are my favorite because theyre not too oily, but theyre not dry. they are the best ones i have used.

These are nice to start out with if you have never used pastels before. They are a good bargain. They are also fun the play around with. these are also good for learning the different techniques of patsels.

Excellent, good priced oil pastels. Nice and big for little hands! I teach 3 homeschools classes at my local co-op for grades 1-6 and they love these. Because of their size, they don't break as easy and the colors are beautiful!

These are great oil pastels - the colors remain vibrant and true. They work really well on light or dark papers and do not smudge/smear like chalk - but you can still achieve a chalk-like look if you want. These are inexpensive so I can share them with my kids without worrying about it.
