They also have harder leads than most other colored pencils, making them more resistant to breakage when used by the developing artist.

Prismacolor Scholar pencils do not contain rain forest wood.

These pencils are of excellent quality, however, I honestly found them a bit too "waxy" and did not give a clean texture on the paper, but they have a good range of color and I would purchase them again.

These are nice for what they are. The have a medium-soft lay as opposed to the really soft lay of prismacolors. They hold up much better to manual pencil sharpeners. They mix fairly well. They have good solid color.

A great set of pencils. Prismacolor colored pencils provide a smooth application and are very easy to blend using a blending pencil. Prismacolor colored pencils is all I will buy when it comes to colored pencils.

blends great, but i did have 1 pencil that was broke so by the time it was sharpend half of it was gone. And the shipping was fast.

These pencils hold their points well. The color is bright, non-fading, and can be blended easily while fresh. I would definitely order them again.
