PITT Monochrome Graphite Crayons are the perfect addition to the day-to-day toolkit of both professional and amateur artists. These 12 mm. thick, pure graphite crayons are smooth and never scratchy.

Three grades are available -- 2B, 6B, and 9B -- with two crayons per package.

I ordered these Faber-Castell Pitt Graphite sticks/crayons after running an unknown brand of graphite stick down to the nub (it was a gift from our life drawing teacher). I found these sticks to meet the quality I wanted, but missed the convenient wrapper that my prior stick had. All-in-all, these Faber-Castells meet my quality needs, but for a "neat" artist who values cleanliness and needs all the help she can get not to smudge found them to be needlessly messy.
