This is an essential product if you are doing a considerable amount of pen and ink work. Obviously, your technical pens will only serve you well if you are willing to put the time and effort required to keep them clean.This can be a daunting task if not done regularly. Simply, because of the buildup with some of the ink products, the pens become clogged.The Koh-I-Noor cleaner is an excellent product, and can be diluted and used again, until a point where the the solution is too contaminated.

The Eze pen cleaner is a wonderful product for cleaning new and slightly old build up of ink. However if the build up is very old it's pretty much useless. An Ultra-sonic cleaner is required for very old build up.

A must-have product for use with koh-i-noor rapidograph Tech pens, espeically for the fine-line nibs of .35 or smaller. Hot water will solve some problems, but a good cleaning with this fluid (and a syringe pressure cleaning bulb) will keep the ink flowing.
