For many years I used the Elegant Writer pen for calligraphy. But the last few years I have been using it for creating art work. Check out my blog on www.myelegantwriter.com Or just google elegant writer to see how many people are using the pen in various ways. It's fun and an inexpensive way to make art.

The broad-point pen is not bad for practice, but I wouldn't use it for a final project. It does not seem to distribute the ink as evenly as one would like.

One of the best extra-fine point calligraphy markers on the market, and excellently priced, although I would suggest ordering it with other products as the shipping is outsize to the pen. Sharply cut, and holds shape so lines don't 'blur' or feather at the edges even after extended usage.

I purchased these to calligraph my wedding invitations; the sharp tip is perfect for this. One of my pens did come with the nib pushed down into the barrel of the pen;however,so I'm hoping they're not too fragile!

I have always loved calligraphy writing and wanted to learn how to do it and with ease. This product has allowed me to do all of that. I can now send fancy letters and invitations without paying someone else.

The x-fine point is perfect for addressing graduation invitations. lol Though it does require some practice to get it all centered on the envelope.

My students do beautiful calligraphy on the very first class using these pens; because they can pay attention to the letter structure without any worries about ink, etc. Superb product. Long lasting, too.

I love this set of pens. I enjoy doing calligraphy but have arthritis, the pens actually help me to make my letter forms better. The ink quality is very good.

The fine point elegant marker is quite good. I was thrilled to get the scroll point marker as well, and wish they'd bring this scroll point to a smaller size. Years ago, I'd create smaller scroll point nibs by cutting away a v shape to make a scroll point. I'd prefer that the calligraphy nib came in a extra fine point which can be used for standard handwriting. Also, more colors, like purple for example. What about more daring ink compositions such as are available in the Sakura, Gelly Roll. Be sure to press the nib down before writing because there is some slippage. It's hard to explain unless you test the pen for pointilist pressure. Not a big annoyance, but just something to check before beginning to letter.
