Sketch, write, draw, and design with Nexus Precision Art Pens. These liquid ink pens possess a rich, pure pigmented ink that is lightfast, waterproof, acid free and of archival quality. The pens work beautifully with watercolors or as precise sketching tools.

Nexus Precision Art Pens possess professional quality, fine point rollerballs that are skip-proof and smooth at any work speed and all sorts of wrist angles. The pens provide perfect laydown up to a phenomenal 20000 meters or more, a longer write-out than virtually all fiber tip pens.

Nexus Precision Art Pens are sold individually and in sets.

Comfortable sketching tool. Perform your own waterproof test on a scrap piece of the intended support to avoid surprises. For best results make sure you get a fresh pen, and I'd recommend not to stock up too many of them since the ink does not seem to keep well in storage. After a couple of years, the ink on a spare set had either dry out of lost its viscosity in most of the pens.

It looks cool. It has a nice black ink. It comes in a cool package. But I've found it pretty miserable to use. If its not stored upright with cap down, I can't seem to get the ink to flow well. If the ink does start to flow, it really flows and drips big messy globs. I honestly have more control over a dip pen with India ink.

I enjoy using these pens, but cannot trust them to be waterproof. Sometimes they seem to be and other times, they have smeared. Now I use them sparingly, only for black and white drawings, not combined with watercolors or acrylics.

Great sketching pens! I use these pens for sketching in my sketch books, they don't run when you go over them with very light washes... they also dry very quick so there is no smearing of the lines on your paper. My only wish is that they came in a slightly thinner line as well as the current line width!

I thought I loved these pens until I discovered that they are not waterproof. Beware! I ruined a canvas trying to add a topcoat of matt medium.
