My main reason for getting this product was for the gold ink. I found the ink to be superior in every way. I used it to scribe names on black textured folders that had metalic gold decorations already on it and the lettering was able to be completed with uniform gold quality that rivaled the other embellisments. A VERY satisfying product!

Crow quill nibs are impossible to find in the area where I live, and the thin line is unlike the product of any other nib I've seen. While I don't use dip pens, the artist for whom I purchased these was ecstatic over the quality of the nib and ink.

I love love love this pen! I ordered the one with black ink and have just used it. It is lovely and the nib is flexible so you can get different widths depending on the pressure you apply.
