The Pros: Light weight, folds up quick, especially if you do not adjust the legs or top adjustment. Easy to travel with and works great for a display easel. The Cons: Easel is not really sturdy and I'm not particularly fond of the top piece that clamps to the canvas. All three legs and the two arms that hold the canvas adjust independantly which gives flexibility, but can take extra time to get the canvas level and the height you want. Overall, this easel is decent to travel with and to diplay paintings. I would not use it as my primary easel at home, unless it was the only one I owned.

This particular easel is great for our camping trips. It sets up easy and stays on the ground.

I still use a 1967 version of this easel which has been through hell and back. Expect the rubber feet and canvas holders to fail somewhat after 36 years. Great price for a real quality product which seems to have been re engineered enough to make up for it's shortcomings.

This is the best easel for outdoor painting. It easily adjust for uneven ground, holds large canvases(60"). Two can be used side by side for long pieces. In moderate wind, weights can be hung from it for stability. It is very easy to unfold on location and packs up neatly with little effort.
