Crystalline Clear Museum Wax

by QuakeHOLD

Use this for wood and pottery objects on high shelves and in hard to get to locations where they are not likely to be moved often. This is a specially blended formula of microcrystalline waxes used by museums for antiquities and is best for most wood. Easy to use, applies in seconds, non-drying, non-toxic, completely removable and reusable.

Corey B. from Lehigh Valley, PA says:

This is an easy-to-use product for keeping things where you want them. There's also enough in the container for about 500 projects, so we didn't feel shy about using plenty for our first three.

Product Questions and Answers

Ask a Question
Ask a Question

What are good solvents for this product?

- Asked by Len C. on 31-Oct-13

This product is meant for non-porous surfaces. If it has been put on a porous surface there will be a greasy residue that has probably seeped in. If it has been on the object for a long time, and has hardened, it can be softened with a heat dryer, and then cut off with dental floss. Also, light residue can be taken off with a citrus cleaner.

- Answered by MisterArt on 31-Oct-13

Is this ok to put on vases, trophies, and crystal collectables?

- Asked by Pam Tagliareni on 22-Jan-13

The product is suggested for wood and pottery objects. This product should be okay on a vase. It is not recommended for use in metal or crystal / glass surfaces.

This was recommended by a potter and works very well keeping things in place.

I love this stuff! I use it to invisibly prop up my jewelry for photo shoots.

Excellent Product! I recommend it for a house with new kittens or cats testing their jumping ability - no need to remove fragile art objects from display - easy to use, holds like cement, easy to remove.
