The Chromalux bulb has its origin in Finland, Land of the Midnight Sun, where life must be sustained in almost total darkness for several months each year. Extensive research and testing there resulted in the design of this unique light source which closely simulates natural daylight.

The feel good light! I intend to order a few more of these, not only is the color and brightness good for small detail work, it really does help chase the blues. I live in the mountains where it snows all winter, the lack of sunlight really affects me. With these bulbs, my creativity hasn't waned even with the fading sunlight. I'd like to have these bulbs in all of my light fixtures!

I was a bit wary of paying out for specialty lightbulbs but I have to say, these are quite nice, a really pure but cheery light.

I bought my first Chromalux full spectrum bulb over 2 years ago and it hasn't quit yet. As a artist that paints detail on small surfaces I needed a light source that would lessen eye strain and not distort colors. An added benefit is the lack of the "winter blues" I had experienced before using the Chromalux bulb. I encourage everyone to use these "wonder" bulbs.

Excellent and economical alternative to more expensive bulbs. Helps in acurately matching colors and enhances clarity of details. We use them throughout the studio and have recommended them to other craftspeople.

The Chroma-Lux bulbs are wonderful. However, be sure to order the frosted ones. I did not specify and received clear bulbs which are not as satisfactory. But, it is my fault for not being more observant.

Was looking for gentle cheerful light to write music by, having moved from a very sunny place - bulbs both provide cheer and no eyestrain, wonderful. One bulb exploded immediately i put it in the lamp, but was replaced quickly and with friendly email support.Extremely good value for the money.

These bulbs are excellent reproducers of natural light and with litle or no glare. I purchased a 60 watt, frosted bulb for the lamp by my palette and a 100 watt, frosted bulb for the light by my work they are far better than any others I have tried in the past.

I have purchased several different bulbs locally to use at my drawing table. This is the first one that I have purchased that I really liked. I feel like it does give me light that is closer to natural than any other bulb I have used. I am very pleased with it.
