These pencils have a high quality graphite strip which can be used dry as a traditional sketching pencil or wet when water is applied with a paint brush. They come in varying degrees that allow the artist to create extra tonal dimension--light wash (HB), medium wash (4B), and dark wash (8B).
Water-soluble Sketching Pencils are an excellent medium for line and wash drawings. Pencils are sold individually.
