| Nelson Shanks is one of the most sought after teachers of portrait and
figure painting in the world. He has painted portraits of such noted figures as
Pope John Paul II, President Ronald Reagan, and Lady Margaret Thatcher, and his
work is exhibited in many museums, universities and galleries throughout the
world.
Silver Brush has worked closely with Nelson Shanks to create four sets of brushes that are ideal for portrait and figure painters.
Portrait Study Set contains 14 brushes: seven Grand Prix Long Filberts (two each of sizes 2 and three; three of size 4) and seven Grand Prix Filberts (four of size 4, two of size 6, and one of size 8).
