Glossies Acrylic Enamel Colors

Liquitex Glossies are water based acrylic enamels that are specially formulated to adhere to slick non-porous materials like glass, tiles, glazed ceramics, stoneware, china, enamelware, primed metal, and wood.

Glossies air dry to a durable, high gloss finish. They can also be heat set to create a glossy, scratch resistant surface. All Glossies are intermixable and can be blended to achieve any color.

Glossies are non-toxic and contain no solvents. They clean up easily with soap and water. Glossies come in 2-ounce (59-milliliter) jars.

The glosses work well and really hold up when the item to be painted is properly prepared ahead of time. I am very pleased with substance and the many colors. The baking process is excellent --- I have used these faithfully for several years and my customers keep coming back!

I bought glossies, and they arrived during freezing weather, and were out on my doorstep all day. I let them warm up to room temp, and they were all fine! By the way, the brown is really brown and not purple, as another review indicated. You just have to shake, shake, shake it! :o) I'll buy again from MisterArt.com!

Previous to using Liquidtex Glossies, I had used Plaid Enamels. At first I did not like the Glossies due to watery consistancy BUT have grown to love them and the ability to keep using them over an extended period of time as I paint wine glasses. The baking process seems to really "cook" them on the glass without leaving watery streaks.

I just finished my first glass painting project using Liquitex Glossies. I have only hand washed it once since baking, but that went well. Nothing washed off. So far so good. If you want fine lines in your design, you will need a really tiny tipped brush because the paint is rather thick. I am ready to make another piece. It was fun to do.

I'm very pleased with the color selection and the coverage of the Liquitex Glossies. I've been painting glass decorative plates and vases and I love these paints. Once they've been baked, the paint is permanent and has a nice gloss shine to it.

LIQUITEX Acrylic Enamel Color Glossies are extremely easy to work with, the colors are vibrant and shiny when dry. I recommend them, just make sure you wait 24 hours before baking them.

I paint acrylic on canvas in a very bold graphical style that requires smooth scrolling and heavy outline work. Liquitex black glossies have become a staple of my work and are ready to use right out of the container - no alteration necessary. Glossies have a perfect viscosity and flow that is perfect for such outline work.

Glossies are a WONERFUL product!! As I create handpainted glassware it is important to have faith in the products I use and I have the UTMOST faith in Liquitex Glossies. If you've never worked with them before, be aware that drying time is quick so don't squeeze too much onto your pallette at once. Paint mixes well...durable finish!

I discovered Liquitex glossies enamel about a year ago. I love the versitility of them. You can use them straight from the bottle so that the paint comes out in a thin stream to create a "Jackson Pollock" effect, or you can pour the paint onto a mixing pad and use it with a brush or palette knife as you would any other acrylic paint. It dries into a vivid, glossy finish which is perfect for the type of abstract painting I do.

Having read favorable reviews about Liquitex Glossies, I ordered several jars in preparation for an upcoming show. I'd previously used a different brand, and was hoping for similarly good results. I found Glossies to be far superior both in luster and application. They mix beautifully in the creation of additional hues. I would happily recommend Glossies to anyone interested in painting on glass! They do dry very quickly, but can be gently scraped off and redone if necessary, prior to baking. I will not hesitate to order more when the time comes. I love 'em!

These are some very versatile paints. The only fault (remedied by shaking well) is that some colors are alternately thick or thin. They do apply beautifully and dry to an intense gloss.

I got great results using the Liquitex glossies that I recently bought. Particularly fond of the gold, which makes a good finish for hand-painted jewelry. I have used Liquitex products for years, and have been well-satisfied. Switched to a different brand a couple years back. Not a good idea! I highly recommend Liquitex, and I appreciate very much the convenience of buying it online.

I can find these paints in my local big box store, but certainly not at these terrific prices. And shipping only takes 2-3 days. By the way, the paint is great for the refinishing that I do when I am refinishing furniture.
