Brushes apply color fairly evenly and pick up the stencil paint without having to drill holes in the paint jars. The bristles tend to stay bent when they get bent and color doesn't come out of bristles even thought the brush is clean. Especially, oily or waxy paint. But in relation to their low cost their draw backs are minute.

I love these brushes! I use them to paint the backgrounds on my flat surface and 3D art. I really like to scrub the paint on and these brushes are very durable. Their stiffness is also great for adding understated textures, and the smallest brushes are great for dry shading.

I love these brushes for use with Acrylics. I use the smaller ones for shadows on my animal stone art, and larger ones for painting backgrounds and shadows in my canvas paintings. The tips do seem to stain from some colors but I like to really scrub the paint on and they hold their shape very well!

These are good, tough brushes. I bought them for students in my glass painting class, and they held up great for pretty hard use.
