Add style to a bike, scooter, wagon, metal basket, or skateboard with X metals. Turn ordinary metal into the coolest metal colors. Anodized colors formulated to work over shiny, bar chrome. Resists heat up to 500 degrees F intermittent. Use basecoat first over painted surfaces.

This stuff looks great! I have so far only used the red, but the effect I get on polished aluminum is amazing. I make effects pedals for guitar/bass and I use this on my enclosures to get a pretty unique finish. After painting I just put on several coats of clearcoat and it looks awesome! The only bad thing about this product is that when you have used about 80% of the can what comes out near the end is a grayish tinted muck that will mess up your project! Throw away the last 20%!

Great Product, I use it in a variety of ground metal paintings that I do. I actually spray the paint into a glass jar and airbrush with the stuff, I also apply a polyurethane automotive clear coat on top, the results are spectacular - love this paint

This paint is awesome-except for one thing. When you get to about a 1/4 to the bottom- don't use the rest of the paint. The dregs at the bottom (even if shaken after every spray) produce a greyish color as your last finish. Buy two cans if you want a few coats. Mister Art is good though.

This series of paints are a remarkable tool. They are clear color coats which can either be used by themselves for a see-though finish or used with the x-metals basecoat (silvery metallic undercoat) for a spectacular, shiny, metallic finish. Coverage with this paint is excellent. When I used this product, acheived professional-looking results by first using a metal primer, then the x-metals basecoat, two coats of x-metals color, then a clear, glossy polyurethane overcoat. I love these x-metals paints and ended up buying one of each color!

i build windchimes and birdhouses and have found the krylon X paints (along with the regular krylon spray) to be superior. trust me, i've tried a lot of different paints. i highly recommend these paints!

My kids and I use found/recycled metal objects, weld them together into awsome garden art. We've found that we really don't get excited about making our art unless we use the krylon xmetals spray paint to get the most professional covering on our art peices.
