I purchased the 12 X 18 size and it did not have a hook and loop closure on it. The flap closes with velcro. There is not much need to open & close this wallet so hopefully it will last.

It is very difficult to find this size of portfolio in art or in craft stores. This portfolio is sturdy and performs exactly the task which I hoped it would, which is to store and contain samples of art paper and fabrics.

Great, durable, practical! I used these folders to send home all the art projects from our Art Vista program. The 14x20 was a good size to house projects that had been matted and it was large enough to accomodate a 3-D project. The handle made it really easy for the first graders to carry.

It was very difficult to find the larger size red envelopes, which we need to store large renderings and sketches. The ones without handles, but with Velcro® closures, are preferred. MisterArt.com not only had them available, but had an accurate, clear description of them so we knew exactly what we were getting. The packaging was fantastic and the product was just as expected. I use this portfolio for my work at school, and it is easily stored and protected. I am very happy with it because although it was inexpensive, it is very sturdy and accessible. The Velcro® closure is helpful when transporting work, and the handle is also very comfortable. It is resistant to ripping, and that was one of my worries.

I got the large 24" X 36" size and am very pleased with it. The only negative for me was that it did not have any handle on it, and other red wallet portfolios have had a cloth handle. For my use, keeping model airplane plans flat, it really doesn't matter. What was really great was the service by MisterArt.com. Local stores did not stock, nor would order this larger size. MisterArt.com had it in stock and sent it out packaged extremely well. MisterArt.com gets FIVE STARS!

great for organizing! I put past works in them according to both medium, and size then store them on a slanted rack that leans against the wall. Because I use them for organization I prefer the ones without handles.
