Fome-Cor is an innovative board that can be used for a wide variety of applications, including exhibits, POP displays, signage, photo mounting, screen-printing, and framing.
The polystyrene core is bonded between high-quality papers to create a lightweight, reliably rigid, ultra-smooth board. Fome-Cor simplifies production, resists warping, and cuts cleanly.
White Fome-Cor is laminated on both sides with clay-coated papers and has a white core. It’s perfect for all general mounting applications as well as die-cutting and embossing.
Black-Centered Fome-Cor has a crisp black core that is laminated between high-quality uncoated black papers. It’s ideal for mounting photographs, prints, presentations, and other materials.
Acid-Free Fome-Cor uses papers that are made of high alpha-cellulose virgin pulp. The board is lignin-free and ideal for all conservation-grade mounting applications. I am interested in the 48 in. x 96 in. black foam boards. What is the minimum order of foam boards that you can order? - Asked by Sandra on 01-Nov-13
Answer
There is no minimum order, but at this size it will have to go LTL Freight. It is recommended, so that it does not get damaged, that you order the full case of 25, so that it can be packed in it's original case. - Answered by MisterArt on 01-Nov-13Can the Acid Free White FomeCor be used as an outdoor sign for 3 to 6 consecutive months in any weather condition? - Asked by Julieta Issa on 15-Nov-12
Answer
The FomeCor boards are not coated with a weather-proof and / or UV protection finish. This will not hold up under bad weather conditions. - Answered by MisterArt on 20-Nov-12Ask a Question About Fome-Cor Board
